Reflecting on 2023 and Looking Ahead to a Greener Future in 2024
Thanks to you, our supporters, in 2023, we achieved a remarkable milestone by planting 1.3 million trees for the second consecutive year! Together, the generous contributions of 118 donors enabled us to raise funds for 89,844 trees to be planted in 2023, making a significant impact. 
While we are still tallying the final tree count for 2024, we remain optimistic about the number of trees we will plant. We must acknowledge the challenges posed by the economic impacts of 2022 and 2023, which have affected all our donors and grant prospects.
Nevertheless, every tree counts, and your support continues to make a meaningful difference, whether through following our blog, sharing social media posts, donating, talking to friends or family members about our work in Mexico, or planting a pollinator garden in your backyard or window box!
The trees you help plant in Mexico play a crucial role in the long-term survival of the monarch butterfly. These trees provide essential shelter, contribute to biodiversity conservation, and support the delicate balance of ecosystems that sustain these magnificent pollinators.
Looking ahead to 2024, we are excited about the opportunities and partnerships shaping our conservation efforts. We are proud to celebrate our eighth year of collaboration with the Mexican Hass Avocado Importers Association and Avocados from Mexico, during which we plan to plant 200,000 trees in and around the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve area and surrounding communities.
We are also forging new partnerships, and these collaborations will result in the combined planting of over 250,000 trees over the next two to three years.
Most importantly, we recognize that our ambitious mission is only achievable because of our amazing community of supporters. As we embark on another year of conservation efforts, we are inspired by your dedication to the cause!
